Evan Parrish is a 2006 RHP with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Portal, Georgia, who attends Portal High School. He is a lean and athletic pitcher with great upside. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed and clean arm action. There is minimal effort in his delivery, and he repeats his delivery well staying balanced throughout. Parrish has great control of his fastball and curveball working the pitches around the zone. He bust his 86 mph fastball in on the hands of right handed hitters causing some weak and defensive swings. After he busts his fastball inside, he drops his curveball outside. His curveball is tight with sharp and late break at 74 mph. To go along with his fastball and curveball, he shows feel for his changeup at 78 mph. He has nice arm speed on the pitch and he gets arm side fade. Parrish has good tempo on the mound, and stays in control. He is a very projectable pitcher with great upside.

Evan Parrish is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Portal, GA with a medium build at 6-0, 180 lbs. He has a clean simple delivery on the mound and a smooth, easy arm action. Parrish does a good job of hiding the ball from the hitters and creating good plane and drive to the plate. His fastball topped out at 89 mph and hard running action into right handed hitters when he came inside. Parrish's curveball was 71-73 mph with good depth and a sweeping 2/8 type of break. We didn't see a change up. Parrish hasn't reached physical maturity yet and can develop plenty more strength in the future. His arm strength and solid delivery mechanics give him a very good base to build off of in the future.
