2003 Sunshine East Showcase
Eric is a big RHP with a lean body. He showed some good things at the plate but his future is probably as a pitcher. His fastball topped at 84 and he stayed in the low 80's. His arm works well, but he tends to throw across his body some. He showed some nice spinning curveballs at 67 with good bite. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot but will drop down occasionally. He gets good movement on his fastball and can be very effective. He should be a real interesting prospect as he gets stronger and fills out his frame. He might be throwing 90 one of these days.
