Connor Soblom is a 2012 OF/RHP with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Palm Desert, CA who attends Palm Desert. A tall athletic two-way player Soblom has continued to develop. Showed good fluid actions in the Outfield with a compact arm action that projects for higher velocity as he adds strength to his long frame. Showed a short fluid swing at the plate, doing a good job of keeping his hands inside the baseball. With solid hitting mechanics and a projectable body Soblom should continue to increase his bat speed. Showed good instincts on the basepaths. Also showed solid ability on the mound with a solid Curveball as the highlight of his 3 pitch arsenal. Very good student.
