2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Nicholas Frame is a 2009 LHP/OF with a 6'1'', 145 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Lee Davis. Nicholas has a lean build with a lot of room to fill out. He has a long loose arm action on the mound with good arm speed. Nicholas throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and gets very nice cut action on his fastball. He will show a solid 2 to 8 curveball with nice depth and he projects to add a good amount of velocity. At the plate Nicholas has a very aggressive hitting approach and shows solid bat speed. He tends to get a little long at times and needs to work on getting his hands inside the baseball more. In the outfield Nicholas has clean actions and best projects in left field. Nicholas is a solid student that should attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.
