Dylan Brusstar is a 2005 right handed pitcher from Napa, California, with a large frame, and a strong build at 6'1", 205 lbs. He has a well proportioned body that could tone up very well in the future. Brusstar has a good, even tempo delivery with good balance. His mechanics are solid, and he has the ability to repeat his release point consistently. Brusstar keeps the ball down in the zone, and shows an 11-5 tilt to his curveball. He has good life on his fastball with run in on the hands of right handed hitters. He mixes in a good change up with deception at times. Brusstar handled himself well pitching 3 innings with 3 strikeouts, while allowing only 1 hit. Brusstar looks to be a solid work horse type starter. Dylan knows what he's doing on the mound and he's a good student as well.
