Dwight Nixon is a 2005 middle infielder from Modesto, California, with a nice frame and lean build. He has long muscles and projects nicely. Nixon sets his weight back on his back side on occasion, and gets a lot of lift in his swing, but loses some power when he does it. Defensively, he has some arm strength with above average accuracy to the target. Nixon has very good running speed that makes him an exciting player to watch. He has good hands and the defensive actions needed for a middle infielder. Nixon needs some added strength, but it should come. He is a nice looking player that can help at the college level with his speed and ability. Dwight is a very good student.
