2003 South Top Prospect Showcase
Tucker is a second baseman that plays bigger than he stands. At 5 foot 6 and 155 pounds he got a lot accomplished. His arm plays at this level and his feet are quick showing good actions in the field. He made all the plays. At the plate he used a contact hitting swing that worked well. He ran a 7.21 in the 60 and showed good baserunning ability in the games. He switch hit showing a more interesting swing right-handed but when he stayed short to the ball, both sides of the plate appeared to be effective. It's obvious that he loves to play and will continue to develop.
