Michael Pacitto is a 2008 IF/OF/P with a 6', 180 lb frame from Sunrise, FL who attends South Plantation HS. Michael has a well-developed athletic build. At the plate Michael has a simple approach with a short line-drive swing plane that produces nice gap to gap pop. He has solid bat speed and has a pretty good understanding of how to hit. In the field Michael best projects at second base where he has clean actions and good hands. His arm strength is limited right now and he needs to work on his throwing mechanics some. On the mound Michael throws from an OH arm slot with a clean delivery. He shows off a 12 to 6 curveball and will make hitters put the ball in play. Michael is a solid student that could attract the attention of some small to mid-level college programs.
