Brooks Kriske is a 2012 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from La Quinta, CA who attends Palm Desert. Serious 2-way prospect showed impressive tools at the plate and on the mound. A bit more polished as a hitter, he consistently showed good pop, driving the ball hard to all fields. Good bat speed with a fluid swing with loft in it and a lot of strength at contact, he projects to hit for power. Hitting tools played well in games. Continues to develop as a Pitcher and showed serious upside there as well. Delivery is still improving but already Kriske has made tremendous strides throughout the fall and winter and his velocity has steadily increased as a result. Curveball flashes hard bite at times with potential to become a weapon as an out pitch. Arm was also an asset in the Outfield and combined with his speed he has the makings of a good defender. Very interesting follow. Good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
