Deonte Price is a 2007 MIF/3B with a 5'6'', 150 lb. frame from Chicago IL, who attends Simeon. Deonte has an athletic body with a compat build. Deonte has active feet defensively and moves around well on the infield. He has quick hands and transfers which help him turn a quick double play. Deonte has solid defensive actions and is developing arm strength. At the plate, Deonte starts with high hands and his feet shoulder width apart. Deonte chokes up on the bat some and uses a flat footed approach. He has bat speed with solid hand quickness in his swing. Deonte uses a top hand release at finish and had some good game swings. Deonte has the tool set to improve into a solid player.
