Noah Pyles is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-7 235 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Dripping Springs HS. Extra-large frame with broad shoulders, very long legs, and some room on the frame for additional strength. Longer arm stroke through the back and flashes of leverage and plane to the lower third of the strike zone. Throws exclusively from the stretch and releases from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Very simple and repeatable delivery and flashes some arm side life on the fastball that topped out at 82 mph. Throws a good amount of strikes and attacked exclusively with fastballs. Righthanded hitter with an upper half dominant swing. Gets his weight out onto his front side and has good strength through the point of contact. Power is intriguing especially to the pull side. Good student. Verbal commitment to Tyler Junior College.
