Noah Conlon is a 2017 RHP/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Placentia, CA who attends El Dorado HS. Large frame with a lean, athletic frame. Projects for additional size with strength. Right handed pitcher with a smooth paced leg lift delivery. Deeper arm cirlce back at seperation and releases from a three-quarters arm slot. Creates very good downhill plane and on line direction while driving to the plate. Fastball has a lot of movement topping at 88 mph. Fastball consistently shows arm side run with sinking action, but flashed the ability to cut the baseball as well to glove side. Slider has nice sweeping action with late tilt. Flashed a changeup as well with consistent arm speed to fastball offering. Pounds the zone with all pitches with heaviness. Consistently stayed off barrels while breaking bats in the process. Commands the zone with good prescence. Right handed hitter with a spread, straight stance and high back elbow set. Lower half launches to contact with rotational actions. Line drive swing plane and approach with the barrel skills to hit to all fields. Flashed bat speed when getting through extension that can split the gaps. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing smooth feet while surrounding and ranging to the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and working through exchanges. Athletic, easy actions throughout defensive workouts. Throws across with a loose arm action that generated good carry with accuracy to the bag. Good follow. Outstanding student. Named to 2016 Sunshine West Top Prospect List.
