Robert Touron is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Gulliver Schools. Slender middle infielders build, frame isn't likely to add too much more bulk. Mid 3/4's release point with some recoil at release, has a whippy fast arm, plenty of energy on release but repeats his mechanics well, has deception. Steady low 90's fastball, topped out at 93 mph, gets hard running action times on his fastball. Breaking ball is a sweeping slider with good depth, will tip the pitch on occasion with the grip and extended release point, hitters seem to see the slider better than the fastball. Developing change up. Throws lots of strikes and works very quickly and aggressively. Good student, verbal commitment to Miami.
