Bryson Smith is a 2016 SS/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from San Marino, CA who attends San Marino HS. Medium athletic build, young look, lots of room to get stronger. 7.11 runner, has quick feet on defense with a quick first step, shows lateral range, lower release point throwing, second base actions and profile on defense. Right handed hitter, wrapped barrel start, controlled glide into contact, short line drive swing, hits through the ball and has a good feel for the ball, can use his core more to generate bat speed, high average approach with good contact to all fields. Very good student.
