Brett Huber is a 2008 RHP with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Belleville, IL who attends Althoff Catholic HS. He has a tall and lean build with some present strength. Huber has a balanced takeaway over the rubber with an extended arm circle in back with some wrap. He drives hard to the plate and accelerates his arm well and repeats his pitching mechanics. All three of Huber's pitches show good present quality. He threw in the upper 80's with his fastball from a high 3/4's release point and had hard arm side run/bore at times. He topped out at 91 mph. Huber's curveball has always been his top pitch; it has a sharp downer break at 75-77 mph and can be a swing and miss pitch at times. His change up also has some deception and fade at 77 mph. Huber is an aggressive pitcher who can break down hitter's with solid stuff.

Brett Huber is a 2008 RHP with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Belleville IL, who attends Althoff Catholic HS. He has a broad shouldered build with good present strength and the potential for more in the future. Huber throws from a balanced, well paced delivery, with some back side collapse that causes him to drift a bit before release. Huber has a high 3/4's release point and throws from a downhill plane but could benefit from throwing taller. Huber has a quick and compact arm action and hides the ball well from hitters, which makes his 87-89 mph fastball jump on hitters. Both of Huber's secondary pitches have good quality to them. He has lots of confidence in his change up and will throw it at any point in the count. It has good sinking life at the plate, although he will occasionally drop his release point. Huber's curveball isn't as consistent but it has a chance to be a plus pitch for him. It is big and tight at times with a hard break at 74 mph. Huber is a very good young prospect with the potential for three upper level pitches. Follow closely.
