Scott Griggs is a 2009 RHP with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame from Alamo, CA who attends San Ramon Valley HS. Griggs arm is fast and works well as he pitches in the low 90's. His fastball is heavy with good life and he commnds it well. He shows very good feel for both his change which he maintains his fastball armspeed and his curveball which has a sharp break. Scott shows very good pitchability to go with his smooth delivery and excellent stuff. He is a good student and has verbally committed to UCLA, but is also a top follow for the 2009 draft.
