Dillon Rudio is a 2010 2B/3B with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Cary, NC who attends Athens Drive HS. Long lean build. Moves well defensively, short quick release from multiple positions, hands are soft, good 2B actions. Long, smooth extended swing, solid LD contact when hitting through ball, tends to pull off occ. Should keep improving with strength. Good student.

Dillon Rudio is a 2010 MIF/1B from Athens Drive HS in Raleigh, NC with a 5'10", 135 lb. frame. Dillon was one of the youngest kids at the showcase and has a lot of room to fill out. At the plate Dillon has good swing fundamentals where he shows the ability to extend through the ball with a good swing plane. He is late on the ball some and struggles with his trigger, which will both be fixed as soon as he gains some strength. In the field Dillon has nice carry on his throws with solid actions. At this point Dillon will need to stay at second base, but as he ages and get stronger he has the tools to play several positions. Dillon was a very young player that showed a solid tool-set at the showcase.
