Sean Cole is a 2010 OF/P/C with a 5'9'', 150 lb. frame from Teaneck, New Jersey, who attends St. Peter's Prep High School. Cole is a very young (2010) player with a lean and athletic frame. Defensively he is very deliberate on his throws from the outfield. He does show arm strength for his age with a top velocity of 76 mph. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who bits from a straight away to slightly open stance. Cole uses a no stride approach. He is a contact type hitter with a line drive swing plane. He stays balanced throughout his swing and makes consistent contact. He hustles in game action on the field and on the bases. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed. He uses a drop and drive delivery , and he has a loose arm. Cole shows pitchability using his two-pitch mix of a 77 mph fastball and a 63 mph curveball. He gets life on his fastball and depth to his curveball. Cole is a good student as well.
