Ryan Clark is a 2008 RHP with a 6'3'', 185 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion. Clark has a good frame with a lean pitchers build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. Clark uses a high leg kick and his arm works well. He throws a very good 11/5 curveball for strikes and it is a strikeout pitch. Clark gets some sink on his fastball and has good stuff. He is a very good student.

Ryan Clark is a 2008 RHP/OF with a 6'3'', 180 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion HS. He has a nice pitcher's frame, with a young look and projectable strength. Clark throws from a simple, balanced delivery, with a long arm circle with some low wrap in back. His arm is loose and easy coming through. Clark has a stiff front leg and straight back on release and tends to have troubles getting the ball down in the strike zone. His stuff and command will improve immediately when he gets extended and down through the ball out front. Clark's fastball was steady at 81-82 mph. His curveball showed tight spin and hard biting action when he stayed on top of it; he tended to get on the side of it frequently. Clark also threw a couple of change ups. Clark has good pitching tools and projection if he can get stronger and make some adjustments to his delivery. He might be a late bloomer. He is a good student.
