Cole Leonida is a 2007 C/1B with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Aurora, CO, who attends Grandview HS. Great frame, athletic behind the plate, solid arm strength, nice catch and throw actions, nice looking swing, balanced throughout his swing, projectable power, bat speed, hit a HR in game action, middle of the order run producer, great upside, excellent student as well.

Cole Leonida is a 2007 catcher from Grandview HS in Centennial, Colorado, with a 6'2", 185 lb frame, and Leonida was named to the Top Prospect Team. He has a very good and lively athletic body that you can project more strength to come in the near future. He shows great energy behind the plate with sure hands and does a great job blocking balls in the dirt. Leonida has a quick release with present arm strength that can control a running game. He has the ability to make an impact and change games behind the plate at the next level. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with an advanced approach. He has very good bat speed with present raw power, and the ball jumps off his bat consistently. Leonida has good balance and bat speed to become an offensive hitting catcher with the ability to keep runners honest with his online, quick release to his target. Leonida will be a good middle of the order bat that will generate a lot of interest to play at the next level. He is also an outstanding student.
