John Franklin is a 2008 RHP that attends Dwyer HS and resides in Jupiter, FL with a 6'3", 185 lb. frame. John has a tall athletic build that profiles well for a pitcher. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. John shows solid arm speed and a nice 11 to 5 curveball with tight spin. John struggled some with his command and this can easily be improved. Once he starts finishing center to the plate and slowing his delivery down some he will see a lot of improvement. John is a solid student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
