Joshua Scott is a 2009 P/OF with a 5'11'', 145 lb. frame from Loxahatchee, Florida, who attends Seminole Ridge High School. Scott has a lean frame with long legs. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 to over the top arm slot with a loose arm action. Scott has a short arm circle on the back side , with solid mechanics and delivery. He has solid command of his 76 mph fastball, and he gets cut action in on the hands of right handed hitters. Scott also mixes in a 66 mph curveball with solid depth. His loose arm and youth gives him projectable velocity. Defensively he has good actions in the outfield moving to and through the ball. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with solid bat speed. Scott has a smooth swing, and centered the ball well in game action. He kept his hands inside the ball well showing the ability to hit the ball to all fields. Scott is a very good student as well.
