Dennis Brick is a 2007 RHP with a 6'0'', 225 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Clarkson SS. He has a thick strong mature build with a big lower half. Brick throws from a high 3/4's release point and has good consistency to his delivery and mechanics. He maintains a good downhill release angle to his pitches with a hard and tall front saide and extension out in front. Brick's fastball was a steady 82-84 mph and pretty straight. He spotted his fastball and worked aggressively ahead in counts. Brick's curveball was 70-71 mph and had good shape and a consistent bite and he threw it for strikes at any time in the count. Brick doesn't have a swing and miss pitch but he pitches ahead with two solid pitches and knows what he's doing on the mound. He's an efficient, mature pitcher who can be successful in the right environment.
