Brent Worsham is a 2008 C/OF with a 6', 175 lb frame from Villa Rica, GA who attends Carrollton HS. Named to Top Prospect Team. Brent has a very nice athletic build. At the plate Brent shows good pop and really knows how to use his hands. He has a lot of wasted movement in his swing and really needs to simplify his approach. There is plenty of offensive potential and Brent just needs to clean up his hitting mechanics some. Defensively Brent shows lots of upside with big time arm strength and solid receiving skills. His an athletic catcher that has the ability to be a highest-level catching prospect. On the mound Brent has a short arm action and got up to 84. He is fairly raw mechanically, but there is something to work with. Brent is a good student that should become a highest-level college prospect.
