Will McCaleb is a 2008 3B/IF with a 6'2'', 202 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends Bellaire. Will has a very lean and athletic build and has a good field presence about him. He has good present strength in his upper body and has broad shoulders. He hits from a low crouch with a wide base and has good bat speed and pop. He stays quiet with his swing and is aggressive early in the count. He is a lift and replace style hitter and he does a good job centering up his barrel on the ball. He has definite power potential. He has very sharp actions at third base, and positions himself well in games. He has good defensive instincts with good footwork, and a plus arm. He has good range at third, to both his backhand and glove side. He has some arm speed, and had a top velocity of 80 mph across the infield. Will is also an excellent student.

Will McCaleb is a 2008 3B/IF with a 6'2'', 202 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends Bellaire. Will has a thick build with broad shoulders and long arms. He has present strength with room to go and moves very well for his size. He showed very good speed during the workout, running a 6.71 sixty and he's an instinctive baserunner. Defensively he has good loose actions with a quick transfer and release. He has soft hands and good footwork around third base. He has arm strength and his top throw across was at 83 mph. At the plate he hits with a medium base and uses a short stride. He has a nice compact swing for a player his size, he stays short to the ball and he has the ability to take the ball gap to gap. His bat produces consistent solid contact and flashes power potential. Will is also a very good student.
