Jordan Brown is a 2008 OF/P with a 5'10'', 165 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westwood. Jordan has a very athletic frame with some present strength in his upper body and room for continued development. He has a live body in the outfield and really flies around. He tracks the ball well and takes himself to and through the ball well. His throws are online and have carry. He showed some arm speed in the outfield with a top velocity of 79 mph. He has a rotational swing and his hands get into a nice hitting slot. He hits from a square stance and a high hand set, and does a good job staying on the ball and using the whole field. He can go to the opposite field with the outside plate, and battles at the plate. He hustles out of the box every time, and has very good speed, running a 6.87 sixty during the workout. On the mound he flashes arm side run on his fastball and he commands it on both sides of the plate. Jordan is also a good student.
