Vinnie Fayard is a 2008 OF with a 5'9'', 172 lb. frame from Corona CA, who attends Santiago. Fayard has a medium sized frame with a medium build. Defensively, Fayard has good range and his feet are smooth on his approach to the ball. He has good hands in the OF and can make the plays. Fayard has arm strength with some carry on his throws. At the plate, Fayard has a good base which helps him to stay back well on off-speed pitches. He has a line drive swing path with a nice compact stroke. He has present line drive pop with more power potential in there. Fayard has good baserunning instincts and takes the extra bag when he can. Very good student.
