Danny Valenzuela is a 2008 RHP/MIF with a 5'8'', 135 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga CA, who attends Rancho Cucamonga. Valenzuela has a good frame with a thin lean build. Valenzuela pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and uses a clean arm action. He has good arm speed and his arm works well. Valenzuela has good mechanics and he is pretty smooth throughout. He gets good armside run on his fastball with sink. Valenzuela throws a good curveball with 11/5 break. He spots his fastball very well and commands the whole strike zone with it. At the plate, Valenzuela swings on a line drive path and looks to pull the ball. He hits the ball on the inner half well and has bat speed. Good follow.
