Kevin Amerson is a 2007 LHP/OF that attends Alexander HS and resides in Villia Rica, GA with a 6'0", 155 lb. frame. Kevin has a lean athletic build with some room to fill out. On the mound Kevin has a loose arm action with some cut action on his fastball. Kevin is able to stay around the plate with his pitches and does a good job of fielding his position. Kevin shows a 1 to 7 curveball that he will needs to work on staying on top of. Mechanically Kevin does not finish well to the plate and will need to work on getting his delivery more online. At the plate Kevin hits from a very wide stance with some lift in his swing. His swing gets a little long at times and he will need to work on shortening up and getting his hands inside the ball more. In the field Kevin shows good footwork at first base with solid all-around actions. Kevin is a player that could attract the attention of some smaller colleges.
