John Burke is a 2008 3B/SS that attends Oxford HS and resides in Oxford, MA with a 6'0", 175 lb. frame. John has an athletic build with a little bit of room to fill out. At the plate John showed good pop and the ability to hit the ball all over the field. His swing is somewhat long at this point and he will need to work on keeping his hands inside of the ball more and shortening his approach. In the field John has clean and smooth actions. Right now his arm strength would project best at first base or in left field. John is a player that many smaller colleges across the country should take notice of.
