2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Richard Loria is a 2007 OF/LHP that attends The Heights HS and resides in McLean, VA with a 5'10", 175 lb. frame. Richard has an athletic build and showed some nice hitting tools at the showcase. At the plate Richard has an easy swing that uses his upper half well. He is able to go all fields and should really put up big numbers in high school. In the outfield Richard has solid actions but is limited due to his arm strength. Left field or first base look like Richard's best positions at this point. Richard is a player that could attract the attention of some smaller colleges.
