Ryan Maghini is a 2008 SS with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Madison CT, who attends Daniel Hand. Maghini has a medium sized frame with a medium build. Defensively, Maghini has quick defensive actions and has nice hands. He fields through ball well looks to have a good idea of what he's doing defensively. Maghini throws with a loose arm action and has a good release. He showed good body control and can make the play on the run. At the plate, he starts with a wide stance and maintains good balance through his swing. Maghini looks to keep his hands inside the baseball and has a nice simple swing. He has slight lift to his swing and is able to generate some bat speed. Maghini centers the ball well and showed good bat control in the strike zone. He will hit for more power as he learns to get more out of his lower half.
