Pecoraro is a slender 5-8, 155 lb senior middle infielder from Texas. He's a 7.29 runner in the 60 and showed 75 mph arm strength during drills. Pecoraro is a polished defensive middle infielder who has balanced actions, smooth hands and a good release on his throws. He profiles best at second base but showed that he could handle the routine play at shortstop, too. Offensively, Pecoraro has a short swing with a good line drive swing plane. He made consistent solid contact in batting practice and lofted a few to the outfield during the games. The wood bat might have been a little heavy for Pecoraro but he looks like a good young hitter who knows what he's doing at the plate and is probably a high average type hitter with metal. More strength will help him offensively down the road. Pecoraro also took a turn on the mound and threw 77 mph with a quick short arm action and a 61 mph curveball. He threw strikes and looks like he might be an effective secondary pitcher at the high school level. Pecoraro is also a very good student.

Chris Pecoraro is a 2006 middle infielder from Plano, Texas, who plays bigger than his size. He hits from a slightly closed stance with a little bit of bat wrap in back and a good balanced load and stride. Pecoraro swings hard and generates good bat speed, and showed some pop during batting practice. He looks like a confident and aggressive hitter. Defensively, Pecoraro has short, quick actions and a particularly quick transfer from glove to release. His arm strength probably profiles him best at second base in the future. Pecoraro also pitched a couple of innings, showing a 78 mph fastball and a big breaking 68 mph curveball that he picked up a couple of strikeouts with.

Pecoraro is an "06" MIF/P from Plano, TX. At 5'8/140 he has a young athletic build that will gain a lot of size and strength. He shows some good tools with his running ability and actions. His arm plays now and will get stronger. He shows very good natural hitting ability with a line drive approach. As he gets older he could develop into a top level college hitter. He has a real nice feel for the game.
