2004 Indoor Pitchers/Catchers Showcase
Chris LaPaglia: LaPaglia is a young "06" C from Illinois. At 5'8/140 he has yet to mature physically. He will end up being much bigger and stronger. This was a tough match for Chris because many of those in attendance were the big, strong, top athletes from all over the country. He did show good receiving skills, catching a hard thrower. He showed some good fundamentals for a young guy. His feet work well, with quickness and his arm is smooth and loose. He faced a few very good pitchers and battled them. Chris is a very good student and as he gets bigger and stronger his game will improve a lot. Be interesting to see him when he's a senior.
