2006 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Weston Walker is a 2009 C/MIF from Loudoun Valley HS and resides in Leesburg, VA with a 5'10", 140 lb. frame. Weston has a lean build with a lot of room to fill out. At the plate Weston makes consistent contact, but needs to work on driving the ball with more authority. When he gets stronger and changes his approach some at the plate he will start driving the ball more. In the field Weston projects best as a second base. His arm strength is somewhat limited and he will need to get stronger to be behind the plate. Weston is a player that could attract attention from some smaller colleges.
