Andrew Van Valen is a 2008 OF/UT that attends Centennial HS and resides in Peoria, AZ with a 5'3", 123 lb. frame. Andrew has a lean athletic build with a lot of room left to grow. Andrew is wirey with good strength for his size and runs fairly well. At the plate Andrew has quick hands and is able to keep his hands inside the ball well. He has an aggressive approach with good bat speed and just needs a little more size to help him out. In the outfield Andrew has good range with solid actions. His arm strength is good for his size. Andrew is a solid student that should attract the attention of some smaller colleges.
