Kyle Lepine is a 2008 1B/OF with a 6'2'', 204 lb. frame from Key West FL, who attends Key West. Lepine has a big frame with a strong body. Defensively, Lepine has nice footwork and moves around the base fluidly and smoothly. He has nice hands and is able to make the picks at first base. Levine throws with a quick arm action and has arm strength. At the plate, Lepine starts with a wide stance and uses a no stride approach which keeps his swing simple and balanced. He takes a short path to the baseball and made consistent line drive contact. Lepine has leverage at contact with some strength in his swing. There is some raw power in there that will continue to develop as he grows as a player. Lepine uses his hands well in his swing and has good hand-eye coordination. He has power potential and will hit for more power down the road. He is an excellent student.

Kyle Lepine is a 2008 1B/3B/C with a 6'3'', 204 lb. frame from Key West FL, who attends Key West HS. He's a tall and solidly build young athlete with good present strength. Lepine ran the 60 in 7.47 and threw 78 mph from first base during infield drills, while showing soft hands and good glove work around the bag. Lepine's arm strength and mobility for his size shows that he might have defensive potential at another corner position with some work, especially at his young age. Offensively, Lepine has a rock back load from tall set up. He tends to have late hands and a late stride starting to the ball but once he gets the bat going shows good bat speed and a nice, short swing for his size. Because of his slow trigger most of his best contact is to right field now but there is plenty of projection with his swing and power with some adjustments. He has the chance to improve down the road. Lepine is also a solid student.
