Robert Hutter is a 2007 RHP/3B with a 6'3'', 160 lb. frame from Hesperia, CA, who attends Hesperia HS. Hutter has a tall, lean frame with great projection. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a slinging arm action. He throws with minimal effort, and has a hip turn in his delivery and stays inline to the plate. Hutter throws across his body and that helps him produce arm side run on his fastball that topped out at 80 mph while working from 76-80 mph. Mixes in a big sweeping curveball at 65 mph with a 10 to 4 tilt. Hutter is a two pitch pitcher wit solid command, and the life on his pitches get him outs. He did not allow a hit in his 3 innings of work, while striking out 2. At the plate he hits from a slightly closed stance with good bat speed. Holds his hands away from his body, but loads them well. Showed the ability to go to the opposite field. Defensively he moves very well in the infield with a good release on his throws.
