Ryan McCrann is a 2005 shortstop and third baseman with a 6'3" 190 pound frame from Needham, Massachusetts. He has a lengthy body that is very athletic. Ryan has very good actions in the field. He is very smooth and moves very well for his size. He has good range and a strong arm at 79 mph across the infield. At the plate, McCrann has good leverage and strength. He stands tall and has strong hands. He uses a nice smooth load and hits the ball where it is pitched. There is definitely some power potential in his bat. Ryan had one of the fastest times at the event. He ran a 6.69 60 and looked like he might be able to better that on a good day. Ryan is a good all around athlete who should be able to help out any program.
