Adam Brown is a 2007 LHP/1B with a 6'2'', 198 lb. frame from Irvine, CA, who attends Northwood HS. Brown has a tall, lean, projectable frame. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a medium length arm circle on the back side. Brown throws across his body and gets arm side run on his fastball that topped out at 76 mph. He throws a big curveball at 61 mph with a 1/7 break. Brown has projectable velocity with upside on the mound. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a straight away to slightly closed stance with a crouch. He has solid bat speed through the hitting zone and can turn on the inside pitch as he did in the game with a double down the RF line. Brown is aggressive at the plate, and he stays in well against LHP. Defensively he has solid defensive actions with nice footwork around the first base bag. He is also a good student.
