Steve Hershey is a 2007 OF that attends Broad Run HS and resides in Ashburn, VA with a 5'9", 150 lb. frame. Steve has a lean build with some room to fill out and put up solid numbers in the workout. At the plate Steve has a smooth left-handed swing with some easy lift. He shows solid contact to all fields and once he adds some strength he should be a very solid all-around hitter. In the outfield Steve has quick actions with good raw arm strength. He can get in trouble with his footwork at times and will need to clean up his basic fundamentals a little bit. Steve is a player that will attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
