Jaden Parsons is a 2021 SS/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-9 162 lb. frame from Woods Cross, UT who attends Woods Cross. Compact frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength with continued physical maturity. Worked out defensively from both the infield and first base. Showed smooth paced, deliberate footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels baseball from a slightly deeper position and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Released from a loose arm action, generated softer on line carry across the infield from each position. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance and leg lift trigger. Looked to attack baseball out front on a loose, linear barrel plane. Primarily looked to work the baseball to the middle of the field with a line drive approach. Also pitched utilizing a simple side step to high leg lift delivery. Compact arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball created some sink to the bottom of the zone in the low 70's, topped at 74 miles per hour. Lowers arm slot with a slider offering that produced looser spin with occasional tilt in the low 60's. Consistently located with in the zone and looked to challenge hitters. Good student as well.
