Reinner Torres is a 2007 1B/3B with a 6'4'', 235 lb. frame from Miami, FL, who attends Funda Proiaz in Venezuela. Reinner has a strong well-developed build. At the plate Reinner can really drive the ball when he connects. The ball comes off his bat well and he has solid swing fundamentals. Reinner gets too long at times and could improve his consistency if he works on keeping his hands inside the ball more. At first base Reinner makes a nice target and shows nice hands. Reinner is a player that will attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.
