Johann Knee is a 2008 3B/2B/OF with a 5'10", 180 lb frame from Montgomery Village, MD who attends Riverdale Baptist HS. Johann has a strong well-developed build. At the plate Johann has an aggressive approach with good present strength in his swing. He is able to drive the ball from gap to gap and should project power at the next level. Johann tends to get a little long at times and will pull off some pitches, but he has the tools to be a very solid college hitter. In the field Johann has all the tools to become a solid third baseman. He has good hands to go along with a solid accurate arm. Johann is a solid student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.

Johann Knee is a 2007 3B/SS/OF that attends Riverdale Baptist HS and resides in Montgomery Village, MD with a 5'10", 175 lb. frame. Johann has a solid athletic build and was one of the best prospects at the showcase. At the plate Johann has good balance in his swing with quick hands and good bat speed. He showed very good gap to gap pop in the games and should be able to adjust to college pitching fairly easily. Johann worked from both the infield and outfield, but looked like a completely different player in the infield. He has a strong arm with very good actions and will be a solid third baseman in college. Johann is a player that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.

Johann hits from a straight and relaxed stance with a high back elbow and top hand release. He has a balanced approach at the plate with good hands. Knee generates good bat speed and makes consistent hard contact. In the outfield, Johann has short arm action at 77 mph and gets behind the ball well. Knee is also a solid student.
