Jake Rifkin is a 2008 RHP/3B from West Deptford HS, residing in West Deptford, New York, with a 6'0"/185 pound frame. Jake has a lean frame. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long and loose arm action. Rifkin has a balanced and online delivery with minimal effort. His fastball has arm side run at 83 mph and he works quick on the mound. Jake has a sharp 11-5 curveball at 74 mph and a changeup with sink and run at 75 mph. He has good secondary stuff and keeps hitters off balance. Rifkin is a switch hitter that hits from a straight stance from the right side. He has a top hand release with solid bat speed and uses the whole field. From the left side, Jake has a straight stance with a small stride and lift in his swing. He has a sidearm release across the infield with a solid arm at 80 mph. Rifkin has solid range and gets around the ball well. He is an excellent student.

Jake Rifkin is a 2008 right handed pitcher/third baseman from West Deptford HS in West Deptford, New Jersey, with a tall and solid 6'0"/190 pound frame. Jake pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long and loose arm action. He has an online delivery with good command and a downward plane to the plate. Rifkin's fastball has arm side run at 81 mph and his cut fastball has life at 76 mph. He also mixes in an 11-5 breaking curveball with depth at 71 mph. Jake has good feet in the infield with a good arm at 81 mph and nice actions defensively. Rifkin is a switch hitter that hits from a slightly closed stance from the left side with a top hand release. He has a no stride approach from the right side and centers the ball well. Jake is a very good student.
