Christian Estevez is a 5'6" 135 pound 2008 middle infielder from Coral Reef High School in Miami, Florida. He has a small lean frame with good quickness. Christian showed good range in the field with good body control. He has soft hands and nice footwork to go along with his smooth actions and heads up play. He showed off his arm strength by throwing 75 mph across the infield during the workout. Estevez is a switch hitter who is very advanced from the right side. He has a quiet set up and is very balanced in his swing. He has strong quick hands and good bat speed for his age. He stays back well and has very good hand eye coordination which allows him to make solid contact. Christian is a good looking young infielder who can swing the bat.
