Robert Fondu is a 2007 OF with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame from Katonah NY, who attends Fordham Prep. Fondu has a medium sized frame with a good strong build. Defensively Fondu moves around well in the outfield and has solid defensive actions when moving to the ball. He throws with a long arm action and he has solid arm strength. His throws were accurate and online. Fondu is a switch hitter, from the left side he starts with a straight stance and stays balanced through his swing. He starts his swing with a good load and he made consistent solid contact. From the right stide Fondu starts with high hands with a straight stance. He takes a longer stride and lands hard on his front foot. He swings with a good level bat path and made consistent solid contact from the right side as well. Fondu has good hand eye coordination and has good pop in his bat from both sides of the plate. Fondu is also a good student.

Robert Fondu is a 2007 outfielder from Fordham Preparatory School in Katonah, New York, with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame. Defensively Fondu has very good arm strength from the outfield with online carry and accuracy. During the showcase games he made very strong throws to the bag and will keep runners from taking an extra base. He gets to the ball well and sets up with good balance and has a quick release. Fondu is a switch hitter with solid bat speed from both sides. It appears that he is a natural right handed hitter with a little more pop in his bat from that side. Fondu likes the ball on the inner third of the plate and is aggressive on those pitches. He is a line drive contact hitter that should hit for a good average. He also showed better game quickness than his sixty time might suggest. Good student as well.
