Casey Albanese is a medium built 2005 infielder from Lithia, FL, with very polished baseball skills. He has very quick, soft hands defensively and athletically profiles best at second base. Albanese turned one double play from second base with a runner on top of him with a professional level quickness. Offensively, Albanese does a lot of things correctly with the wood bat. He’s worked on his hand strength and can get the barrel to the ball quickly and smoothly. Albanese lined two doubles during one showcase game and looks like he’s a potential high average type of hitter with gap to gap power. Keep an eye on him.
