Luis Moran is a 2006 C/1B from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico with a 5'9", 205 lb. frame. Luis has a strong body that he uses to generate power in his game. Behind the plate Luis showed a quick release, with solid arm strength. At the plate Luis shows good bat speed with good raw power potential. Luis gets good extension in his swing, but will sometimes get off balance, taking away from his power potential. With some simplifying in his swing, Luis is the type of hitter that could excel at the next level.
