Matthew Wall is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Pompano Beach FL, who attends Pompano Beach HS. He has a medium build with some present strength and physical maturity. Wall has a long, flat arm action in back and tends to fly open early on his delivery. His fastball gets nice tailing action but tended to be up in the strike zone frequently. Wall topped out at 81 mph and threw in the 77-81 mph range. His breaking ball was a 68 mph curveball that flashed late biting action but like his fastball was not always spotted effectively. Wall also threw a couple of 72 mph change ups. Wall also plays some outfield and showed good outfield arm strength during drills. He is a 7.83 runner in the 60. Wall is an excellent student.
